EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR PITTSFIELD HOUSING AUTHORITY PITTSFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS The Pittsfield Housing Authority is seeking an experienced Public or Affordable Housing management professional as its Executive Director. PHA's housing programs include 164 units of Federal Public Housing, 604 units of State Assisted Housing and 585 Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers (HCV), with a staff of 30 and an annual operating budget of 9 million dollars. Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years' experience in public/affordable housing management, community development or a closely related field, strong organizational, management and communication skills, at least three year's supervisory experience of a staff of 10 or more, and experience working with people of various socio-economic backgrounds. Applicants should be knowledgeable in the practices, statutes and regulations pertaining to Public Housing programs (State and Federal) and the HUD Section 8 HCV program, as well as Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) unique program requirements. Certification as a Massachusetts Public Housing Administrator (MPHA) Federal Public Housing Manager (PHM) and Section 8 HCV Executive Manager is desired or must be obtained within one year. Salary will be commensurate with experience and education, is negotiable between $120,000 and $140,000 and must be in accordance with EOHLC and HUD guidelines.
