Water Division - Water/Distribution System Operator Dept. of Public Works The Town of Bennington is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Water Division - Water/Distribution System Operator for the Department of Public Works. This position primarily involves maintenance and repair of the water distribution system which includes a water filtration plant and several pump stations. The position is full-time with benefits. The hourly pay range is: $28.23 - $29.48 per hour. Qualifications include, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, a Class 4C Vermont Water Certification or the ability to obtain one within 24 months following date of hire, and experience operating equipment is preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license maintained in good standing with 2 years of driving experience. A Commercial Driver's license, Class B must be obtained within six (6) months of employment.
