TOWN OF MANCHESTER, VERMONT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT The Town of Manchester, Vermont is seeking a friendly, customer service driven individual with a high degree of confidentiality and ability to work in a team environment. The Executive Assistant is a full-time, 38.75 hours/week position and reports to the Human Resources/Operations Manager. The responsibilities of the Executive Assistant include, but are not limited to, assisting the Town Manager, Human Resources Manager and department heads, purchase order management and general procurement, coordinating the production of the Town Report, property/liability insurance management, processing accounts receivable, answering phones, processing mail, and responding to questions from the public. Compensation based on experience and qualifications. Candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years related experience; associates or bachelors in related field is preferred. Candidate must possess knowledge of routine office duties, as well as the use of Microsoft Word and Excel and Adobe Acrobat Editor, and excellent verbal, written and communication skills. Candidates must be well organized, attentive to detail and be able to exercise discretion and use good judgment when answering questions.
