WANTED: We are seeking an experienced, influential manager with an ability to lead and motivate, a dynamic transit organization headquartered in Bennington County. We need someone who will be the face of the organization, overseeing all agency operations, functions, activities. and at the same time maintain the established team culture. The successful individual will have excellent communication skills, take a holistic approach to running the organization's operations, coaching needs, problem solving and provide crisis management when necessary. The Executive Director must be an entrepreneurial visionary, who consistently works well with: The Board, staff, volunteers, funders, colleagues and the general public. We need someone with proven leadership experience, possessing a solid business acumen, an in-depth knowledge of grant writing, Federal/State transit funding requirements, an understanding of performance measures, transit planning, NPO management, as well as the principles of fiscal accountability.
